I just wanted to invite all of my WIXER friends over to check out out little Florida forum.
We did a few tweaks to it & now have sections for aviation history as well as diecast model aircraft.

Im always poting links to WIX on our forum or sending poeple over here to check out some of the great info found here.
So I thought I would extend the offer the other way.
So stop by & say hello when your making your forum rounds.
Here is our link.

It looks like a fun forum. I plan to look around and learn a little more about diecasts.

I am a plastic modeler and would consider acquiring more diecasts if they would do subjects that plastic kit manufacturers have not already covered. Oddly they almost never seem to do so. Your forum looks like a good place to keep checking to see if they ever do in the future.

Hey thanks for checking us out.
Dont forget we are not only about the diecast models, we also have a aviation section for real life aircraft & aviation history.

On the diecast, there is alot of stuff out there now, the hobby really blew up in the last few years.
The scales range from 1/200 up to 1/32, there are hundereds of models & many brands to choose from depending on your taste.
1/72 seems to have become the most popular scale with 1/48 right behinde.

If you looking for stuff thats a bit out of the norm. A company called IXO makes some rare Japanese, Italian, German & French WWII aircraft.
Only downside is while they make models others not dare to they are not the best models in terms of detail & quality.

There is a new company called Hobby Master & they make some pretty nice stuff in 1/72.
Here is a link to a site a collector built about them.

Another big player in the diecast world is Corgi, they are a U.K based company that has been around for many years & have really moved the hobby to where it is today.
Many people love Corgi & there harder to find models really go up in value.
Here is a great link to a site with pics of almost every corgi aircraft model.

Those are two that will give you a idea of some of the stuff thats out there, but thats just the tip of the iceberg
look forwad to seeing you on the forum.
