With the bit of talk about the BRAC commission's decisions, thought I would wiegh in on the home guys here for me. I'm just as pissed, as they are shutting down NAS Willow Grove PA. Stupid move, it's a perfect location for the "Mega-lopolis". Presidents always land there as well when they come to town. Just a plain old dumb-@$$ move in my book. The only saving grace quite possibly is the ruling on the 111th TFW, they are an A-10 PA ANG unit. A judge ruled that they can't deactivate without the gov.'s consent. But....they could be given a new mission, which means no more A-10's. I'm hoping that out of all of this the 111th stays in tact with their A-10's. Keeping my fingers crossed....
