Share your best experiences, aviation or not, of 2006.
For me it had to be either when my rifle team went to state in our first year, and we placed 4th. Or when I went to an Aerosmith concert with my girlfriend last month, that kicked a$$.

Our road trip back in August - from CA to Detroit, through eastern Canada, down from Maine through the East and South, ending in Nashville for a flight back to CA. Not much aviation stuff, other than what I saw in passing (and I'm still trying to remember where I saw that F-94C by the highway - Georgia, maybe?) but a lot of vintage car collections!

2006 was the year my baby brother beat cancer, the year he & his wife had my beautiful God-daughter, and the year my step-dad pulled through after suffering severe head trauma in a motorcycle crash.......Lots of things to be really thankful for in 2006!

my stearman ride, & my 22 1/2 inch 5 lb small mouth bass i caught on lake erie on my 45th birthday. all with in a month. otherwise the summer was sucko.

Even though I didn't go flying this year, 2006 was still pretty great. I met a lot of new WIX members and revisited with those I had previously met. I spent an amazing amount of time with friends I have made on WIX and hopefully will be able to do more in 2007. I will be attending Geneseo, Thunder over Michigan, The gathering in Ohio, and MAAM in reading, PA in 2007. I feel honored to have so many friends and I look forward to seeing and meeting more of you in 2007.

It's a good business Scott! I've found you only get 2 or 3 uses before clothing is outgrown!

My 4400 Mile Air-Museum road trip, joining a fraternity (Pi Kappa Phi), finally getting to start flight courses and soloing...those are really the three big ones.
