Aspen in late August??

Mr. Greenwood or other western Colorado res. planning to go to the Aspen area last weekend in august. Normally we go sking, so I know what to do in the winter, but is there any must do things when there is no snow on the ground??
Going out to go around in circles making left and right turns, burn gas and make noise with other silly little english cars.

Take the gondola up Aspen Mt for lunch and/or hikes on top. Hiking, walks along river, ride bikes, river rafting, shop, eat, drink, ride horses, fish. My phone is in information when you get here, try to give me a call a few days before. I am pretty busy now.
