Since people seem to think that the off-topic section is for political discussion, something that is frowned upon, I have temporarily closed the section. ANY political discussions in any other forum will be deleted and the user suspended. I have had it with the politically motivated comments.

This may be my own mental problem, but I was reading a news story posted on WIX's about the Hagerstown Museum and the writer used the term "aircrafts" to describe the fact that the museum had multiple airplanes.
It bugs me when people use the term "aircrafts" when refering to multiple airframes. Aircraft is both a singular and plural word and the only time somebody should use the term "aircraft" with an "s" at the end, is when refering to part of the aircraft itself, as in "The aircraft's landing gear is very sturdy." "s" is only used in the posessive form.
Call me nuts, but that always bugs me.
