Boeing's Dreamlifter

Tue May 29, 2007 9:02 am

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but here goes anyway.

I'm in Charleston, SC, and have been trying to use the FlightAware tracker to check the comings and goings of the 747-LCF. It was using the flight number BOE632 for a while, but now I see that number is assigned to a 777 out of Paine Field. Does anyone know the current flight numbers for the 747-LCF's? I think the first one is still in Taiwan getting painted, but the #2, N780BA, is carrying parts to Everett.

Thanks,

Walt

If it helps, I was at KPAE at the Boeing plant in Everett today and
a Dreamlifter was parked there (too far away to see any N numbers
I'm afraid).

The model designation for the LCF is 747-409

Here are the N numbers & serials of the (3) that are currently
flying:

N249BA (serial 24309)
N780BA (serial 24310)
N747BC (serial 25879)

Go over to Flightaware and post in the "Notable Activities" forum this question.

They are the experts and will be able to tell you what type of aircraft it files as. I assume it uses the 747 designation and a BOE flight number.
