anyone into weather?

Just curious....is anyone here big into weather? Tracking storms...listening to scanners, CB, chasing storms? Just wondering.

Im guessing most pliots are but just curious. lol I once was about to convert my old Honda into a Storm chaser. In fact painted on the door..."Storm Chaser 3". :lol:

That dream was short lived...my Honda kicked the bucket on me. Besides what kinda chasin' am I gonna do in the mountains of Pennsylvania?

I follow "Intellecast.com" on the computer a lot. I also enjoy watching storm chaser programs on TV.

Heck yeah I'm interested in the weather. I probably check the TAF and METAR for GFK about 10 times a day.

I've got the phone numbers for the KGFK and KMSP ASOS/AWOS machines saved in my cell phone.

Oh, and I'm currently working towards an Atmospheric Sciences minor.

ohio weather patterns have changed drastically in the last 30 years. spring comes later as does fall. winter gets worse after january. the seasons weather used to be predictable. it affects my marine / boating business.
