Hi Guys,

I absolutely love 1940's music. I had someone call me an old soul once. I believe it. Anyway my all time favorite WWII song is:

"I'll be loving you always"

I am curious what favorites you all have, if any?

Gotta be Sentimental Journey and In The Mood. Have you ever seen the Glenn Miller story starring Jimmy Stewart? Pretty good flick with lots of great music.

Karen, it is by rhino records.songs include bugle boy of co. b, sentimental journey,wings on a prayer. I can't remember more right now.
I need to play t and write them down for you, case is long gone and no titles on cd, under rhino is R2 70960. may be cd id????? will get rest for ya in a while.

That's one reason I like my XM satellite radio. Chanell 4 plays 1940's music w/ no commercials. They even do news for the day from the late thirties through the 40s.
I had to bring my grandparents from Indiana to Michigan not too long ago and put on the 40's on 4 and they didn't even want to stop for a "potty break." (Which usually seemed to happen about every hour).
Listening right now at work online!

In the last 3 months, I have become an XM fanatic. Picked up the Express model, and been loving it ever since! I rarely, if ever, put on commercial radio...
