Hey, let's talk about politics, I think it would be a good way to take the wind out of the sails...What do you think about Obama anyone?

You might want to take a look at the welcome section for newbies. Here it has the rules of conduct for this board:

Among them, it says:

Politics - It has become evident that discussions of a political nature cannot be done in an objective fashion about this subject that people are so passionate about. So, unfortunately, political discussion is prohibited as of March 19, 2007. You have been warned, so anybody who posts a political post or baits a political discussion will be banned for 30 days, repeat offenders will be banned permanently.

That language isn't worth much as many know.. Politics continues to be brought up time and time again.. Some open the door a crack with and then others kick it in.. No minds have changed but it has devloped deep personal grudges.
