Hi all,

It is nice to hear from you all. :P I am pleased to report my Dad has been doing incredibly well! It will be two years next month since his Pancreatic Cancer was first diagnosed, and as of last month the tumor has not grown, or spread, and appears to be in complete remission. :!: :!: :!:

We were seveely flooded back in September from Tropical storm Ivan, and my Dad lost his home. He has since moved into a brand new apartment, and loves it.

My husband is being deployed with the Air National Guard for seven weeks this coming Monday. He is being sent as a replacement, to Nellis AFB, near Las Vegas.

I have been taking Paralegal courses, and hope to be fully certified in a few months.

As I am sure you can tell, life has been incredibly busy! As we get nearer to the completion of Dean's Mustang I realize how much I have missed all things "Warbird", and all of you as well!

I took a nasty fall last Memorial day weekend, and was completely laid up all summer! I didn't get to a single Air Show all year! :x

I am hoping to be able to attend some of the Air Shows this year. Dad's health is about as good as it is going to get, and he will be 79 in May. I feel if we are going to make it to any shows this is the year to do it!

Piper's Annual "Sentimental Journey will be held in the middle of June this year. Anyone who is interested in Cub's and L-4's will thoroughly enjoy the festivities, and the camaraderie of the fellow enthusiasts.

After Charlie leaves on Monday, I plan on spending a few days going through the posts, and trying to catch up a bit! I love the new "look" of the WIX! I look forward to hearing from all of you often!

Best wishes always,
Karen

Glad to hear that your dad is doing OK, Karen.

If it were only left to willpower, you would have already done it all!

Hang in there, and keep us posted.

Saludos,

Tulio
