Since people seem to think that the off-topic section is for political discussion, something that is frowned upon, I have temporarily closed the section. ANY political discussions in any other forum will be deleted and the user suspended. I have had it with the politically motivated comments.

Something to raise a smile, despite the horror in Victoria
Someone had the sprinkler on at his Hahndorf, Sth Australian property for the birds on a 43 degree day - don't worry, it's dam water, not mains water.. This young male koala was oblivious to everything else.

I saw a picture on the news yesterday of a Koala drinking out of bikers water bottle. Very clever little critters!

Joe, I've seen that picture too.
The one I saw was two bike riders letting a Koala drink out of a sports bottle.
Those bears are pretty smart. (Atleast they are smarter than the average bear)

Carolyn Patrick found this very thirsty koala on her front lawn at Beaumont. "We must have given him around 15 cans of water before he had enough," she said.
