Since people seem to think that the off-topic section is for political discussion, something that is frowned upon, I have temporarily closed the section. ANY political discussions in any other forum will be deleted and the user suspended. I have had it with the politically motivated comments.

I just returned from seeing this movie. Contrary to what most of the reviews have said, it was pretty good. It mostly stuck to the facts and told what has always seemed to be the truth about this mission. It took awhile to get started and didn't have as much action as some of the other movies about WWII but was still worth seeing.
One of the reviews I saw said something along the lines of "as usual, the Japanese soldiers are portrayed in a poor light". I found the movie to realisticaly portray the Japanese as the murdering, yellow, savage sonsofbitches that they were.
