A couple of days ago, in LA, CA while I was in the second story office of the company I work for (located a where Planes of Fame, Cars of the Stars used to be in the 1970s) I heard a roaring helicopter and was stunned to see it rush by our windows, maybe just about at the level of our roof. The copter was painted in military markings, maybe it was from Los Alamitos, but still seemed to me to be flying too low with no good reason for it. It happened too quick to take a picture or get any id on it. My question is, are military helicopters under any altitude restrictions if they are just going between destinations in a civilian area? I've seen a lot of traffic from our window, but without a doubt, this is the lowest flying copter or airplane I've ever seen.

You know, I was thinking the same thing today... there was a MAANG A-10 doing go-arounds at KASH (Nashua, NH) and upon departing, seemed like he was doing nap of the earth ops through the Manchester Class C airspace. As far as I know, we aren't on an MTR, so I was wondering what would happen if there was GA nordo traffic on his route?
