At Indiana Jones, which as I wrote isn't too good, there was a preview for another new movie. It is TAXI TO THE DARK SIDE. I didn't get all the details, but I think it is based on a true story. An American is kidnapped out of a taxi in Afganistan and is murdered within two days. I am not sure if this is done by the CIA or some military group, or the Afganis. I think there is a cover up, and his wife and or family are trying to sort out the mystery of what happened. It looked good, but not a light movie for the kids. Has anyone seen this?

Nope- I had the trailer for M Night Shamalamadingdong's next movie "The Happening" Looks stupid, as usual. Not into horror or terror movies. Give me something intelligent, makes me think, or keeps me guessing. "Charade" was a great example of that... Stop trying to scare me. There is enough of that in real life, I don't need it in a movie...

The new "Narnia" looks interesting. And I still want to see "Speed Racer"

I cant' remember the name, but a pretty good one I saw a couple months back, was about a British gang robs a London bank vault and stumble upon evidence the Royals don't wants in public. This sets off a sort of MI 5 and Mafia type hunt for the robbers. Very well made and entertaining, some humor, good suspense, some violence. Says it is based on a true story.

I found the name, it is THE BANK JOB. The reviews were mostly positive, ie "A ripping good heist tale". This is a 2008 movie of a true story of a Baker street Lloyds bank robbery in 1971. It has a lot of acting, character and does not depend on computer special effects.
