I have been to the MOA several times, but never to the simulator place (been to Camp Snoopy once : )

The place -just in case you might be interested- is the basement, where they have a really great aquarium, with sharks and all.

If you have the chance, try to go to Fleming Field in South St. Paul; there is always something interesting to see there.

Saludos,

Tulio

I have to admit, even though I live in the area, I've never been to ACES.

There won't be much at Fleming Field this weekend. The Minesota Wing of the CAF is holding their anual Wings Of Freedom at the Red Wing Municipal airport(Which is actually accross the river in Wisconsin).

Trae, are you heading to Red Wing with Thunderbird?

Well, some things didnt work through for us to bring Thunderbird up to Red Wing this go around. :( Normally around this time of the airshow season we normally run several shows up north. So T-Bird stays up that way until mid-late Aug.

So I decided to fly up commercial and take my Daughter up to the MOA....and goof around and fly the Sims.. She's like me!!...TEETHED ON WARBIRDS!!! :P

Yes, I live in the area, and yes, I have been to ACES. It is pretty decent, worth the money to go at least try it.

I think they use MS Combat Flight Sim for the WWII aircraft and maybe Flacon 4 for the Jet Fighters?

The movement and just being in the cockpit is pretty cool.

If I get a chance to get down there, I will see if I can take some better digital pictures of the place for you.
