Here are some pics on our site of a Model A we have been building for a customer whose Dad was a navigator on a B-25. He wanted the car to be a tribute to his dad, hence the aircraft style construction. My partner was an aircraft fabricator in the USAF for 18 years (in ANG now) so this was old hat for him.

I think there are about 2600 rivets (see page two)

If you nose around the misc section of the gallery, there are some Collins Foundation photos as well.

Very cool, but all I can say is........only 2600 rivets? Geez, that's only about two thirds the amount that I'll have in that stupid entry door on the Liberator.

Seriously though, nice work with the cars!

Holy crap! I love that! Nice touches in the "cabin" like the yoke, the eyebrow windows, and the flap handle "shifter?"...

I have always wondered what it costs to trick out a car like that?

Thanks!

I think we are starting another similarly themed truck for one of our employees. Plus there is our shark mouthed Bonneville Race car too.

It's a '56 Dodge 325 Poly-block. Basically the same block as the Hemi in 56 but with poly heads instead of the Hemi heads.

Thanks. I know about Chevys and Fords and later Mopars, but I sure couldn't figure that one out.

Here's a video of the car doing a holeshot. When he shifted into 3rd, it threw me back into the seat HARD. It is a total rocket ship.
