Oh , I nearly forgot. Recently went to see the Scottish National Orchestra play the hits from the movies. 633 Squadron, Indiana Jones, Star Wars Imperial March, awesome.... and I cant believe I forgot to mention the bluesmeister Steven Seagal who I saw last year! You are the man Mr. Seagal (not that I would dare say otherwise!!)

I admit it, I have strange taste. Thank god you conservatives haven't outlawed my Tramp. I'd have to move to Cananadia.

Oh crap, I was afraid you'd say that!

Believe me, if I were your conservative president, your Supertramp and any post Peter Green Fleetwood Mac CD's (if you have any) would be the ONLY things I would take from you. As a matter of fact, I would walk right past, and leave untouched, any AK-47's, AR-15's, Barrett .50 cal, hi-cap mags, pistols or shotguns that you may have, to get to them!

Did you guys put all those act names here just to make me feel old? Not only have I not seen them, I have not heard of many of them.

My Son David, is 23 and plays guitar, preference is blues and rock type. He thinks I am outdated. But there are a couple of things in music that I experienced that kept me a bit cool. Personally, I played clarinet in the band in elementary school for 6 weeks, but it didn't have the alure of football and I wasn't that good at it. So no cool points there. In junior high a friend had a private party and the music was Bo Diddly, in person. He ain't the Stones, but for southern rock he was good, so one cool point. Then a friend and I drove down to Galveston to see Chuck Berry. We we the only two honkies in the whole auditorium. In high school one of my classmates, Robert Cook was a guitar player and got to know Lightnin Hopkins. He was tops, wish he was promoted better and had made the money some other lesser acts did. A few times we went into clubs in the tougher parts or town. We were for sure middle road white bread, probably the only guys in the place that were not packing a gun, a knife, or both, but when we were with Lightin, we were safe. Short of Ali, who wasn't even a big shot yet, we could not have had better company. Lightnin and his drummer Spider played at our high school party when I was a junior. So my son gives me a few points for knowing Lightin. He thinks Robert Johnson is the top guitarist ever. At U T, Joan Baez came for a speech and sat next to me, but no music then. Later, living in Colorado in the 70's we went to Denver to see Bob Dylan live, so that is a few more points with David. Doesn't matter what kind of music you like, or don't like, Dylan is an legend and any musician respects him. He sort of created his own catregory, half way between music and poetry. And I got David a ticket a few years ago for him to see Dylan in Telluride. So I do get a few points from one Son re music.

Enough of this music stuff, bet you young squirts never saw Tommy Nobis or big Earl play football!

darn! Too many to list. I like all types of stuff.

From the The Beatles to Modest Mouse, Hank Williams to Junior Brown, Devo to The Specials, Ice T to The Beastie Boys, Iron Maiden to Metalica!

In the cars CD player I currenlty have Earth, Wind and Fire. At home I was last playing Roxy Music.

I like Jazz, Acid House, some Techno, Ultra Lounge and others.

I just like too much stuff to try and list it all. :D
