I bought the Canon 1.4x Extender II last week.

I shot some photos today, of three SH-60s at the Imperial Municipal Airport, using the 70-200 but without the extender.

To help with the lenses the weight, I bought a monopod, and have yet to try the combination.

Too bad that the 1.4x doesn't work with the EFS 17-85mm though.
