Funny you should mention it... the first time WAS, as a matter of fact, on my bed. Then he decided to change things up a bit and vomit in his kennel, and then he was throw downstairs and that's when he managed to attack my carpet. Good grief! Is Fido still under warranty? Steph, ask around your office if there are lemon laws that cover defective weiner dogs!

Ha ha, he's a pekingese, but yeah, not under warranty, he's about 4 years old, must've gotten a little bug or something. I mean, I do feel bad for him, but seriously, I had to spend an hour this morning at the crack of dawn cleaning, ugh! Oh well...

Strange as it is, I'd rather deal with this rare episode, than have to clean a litter box... gag... I hate litter boxes.

Oooh! There is some sort of plane overhead, wish I could see it. Sounds like it was powered by ago-cart engine.... weird.

Stephanie, funny you said that. A C-130 just flew over my office.

Yeah, my office is right near KPDX, so I see a ton of the planes coming in on final which is kind of cool. The Portland AFB/Nat'l Guard is there too, they share a runway - the used to fly the F-15's every day, so that was always really cool to see. The F-15's only seem to go out about once a week now, but it sure is fun!

You lucky dog! I'm located only 40 miles from you and the only thing I get to hear is the "Spirit of Marshfield" trauma medivac helicopter flying over my house at all hours of the day and night.

Yah, John, I see the Spirit fly over every now and then too. Do they still have a fly in over there in Marshfield?

Ummmm...if you could call it that?? :?

The local EAA chapter schedules a local fly-in the weekend before EAA-Airventure which does attract a few folks flying on their way into Oshkosh. I've taken the family to it the last couple of summers for plane rides and the pancake breakfast but there really isn't much in the way of aircraft and definately no warbirds. :( That's why I have to go to Oshkosh every summer...so I can indulge in warbirds!

I took the boys to see the B-17 "Chuckie" a couple of summers back when it was visiting Wausau and would really like to get back up there to check out the WACO CG-4 Glider some guys are restoring out at the airport.

We used to have a decent one here in Point. Haven't had one in a couple years now though. Some warbirds would show up and we even had a few performers. I was really impressed with the Manitowoc Airshow last year. Definately going back this year.

I wish we had more warbirds around here. :( I am sad now.

The residents in the trailer park southwest of the Mosinee Airport used to complain about the noise we made in the '130s. I actually remember ziggin and zaggin to avoid it. C'mon peoples, it's the sound of your friggin freedom and besides, I needed the practice. We used to go to Oshkosh and Muskegon MI to practice too.

I do have to agree with you on that one, it'd be pretty amusing! He's going to the groomers today to get cleaned up a bit... he's looking real rough this morning, and that type of grooming just isn't up my alley.[/quote]

They should feature that operation on that tv show "Dirty Jobs
