I have more hobbies than one person should. But mostly, I’m into the 1940s and the WW2 era in general. I’m also a huge train enthusiast. So far, I’ve ridden every narrow gauge railroad in the United States, Alaska and Hawaii included, with only one exception (which I’ll ride sometime in the next two years). I have among my large collection of WW2 stuff, a gathering of WW2 US Army RR unit items:Image
I participate in re-enacting and living history events, a hobby I’ve been into since the age of 5. Mostly, I portray a WW2 American paratrooper or War Correspondent:

I was recently on the History Channel’s show, “Mail Call”:

I own a WW2 military Jeep:

I have also been known to know which end of a pen is the good one:

And I also love playing with my two miniature dachshunds:

…and I sometimes like to play with toys:

Oh, I’m also married and we’re enjoying “working” on a possible addition to the family (Yeah, I know, way more info than you wanted, huh?)

Sorry to tell you this, but you haven't ridden them all. I used to weekend mine at the Sweetwater Mine in Mariposa (for 15 years), and we had a Narrow guage electric train that ran half a mile deep into the mountain. It became delapidated about seven years ago when the main shaft caved in and the trestle came apart.

I too have too many hobbies.

Offroading (4x4 style, 6" lift)
Target shooting
Motorcycling
Camping
canoeing
Stamps
Coins, etc..........

Well, it stands to reason that I haven’t ridden every narrow gauge RR that you CAN’T ride anymore. That would include every narrow gauge RR that has ever existed but was torn up before I was born as well as the ones that were abandoned before I could get to them.
Sheesh…

Thanks!
Funny you mention him. I've spent several years and thousands of dollars gathering an incredible collection of his work (including a yearbook from a high school in Poenix with him in it as a teen as well as some original sketches). In fact, I have written on him and his work, and was a guest on History Channel's "Mail Call" on the subject last month, if anyone here saw that segment.
