Since people seem to think that the off-topic section is for political discussion, something that is frowned upon, I have temporarily closed the section. ANY political discussions in any other forum will be deleted and the user suspended. I have had it with the politically motivated comments.

Being armed with such knowledge could have helped people stranded in December after severe winter weather grounded thousands of flights avoid some unnecessary headaches.
You siad that the flights were being cancelled due to the new law. This says it was due to weather. I think your pudding has some poo in it.

nowhere does your link verify your earlier claim that 1400 flights were cancelled in Dec all because of the stranding law.
