They speak English naturally enough in England, we here in America speak American unless we are lucky enough to be from Texas and speak Texan you all. Whot the heck wierd words are those that the upside down bloke is writing? I understand more when Mike from Thunder is writing about compouters than when trying to make sense out of the previous post. At least they don't drink warm beer or do they?

and why would mike be writing about computers? I tend to be the resident speaker of techno-jibberish

As for the cricket match; it seems like a lovely sport. I imagine it would be a bit more interesting if they added some rules.

Ah yes, the game of cricket. The simple Commonwealth pass-time, that is easily understood.

You have two sides, one out in the field and one in but out in the field. Each man that's in goes out, and the side that is out try and get him out. (There are two men called umpires who are both out all the time, and they decide when the men who are in are out.) When the man who is in is out, he comes in and the next man goes in until he is out. When they are all out, the side that's been out comes in and the side that's been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out. Sometimes the whole team will do this twice, and sometimes you get men who are still in and not out.

Obviously far too simple a game to be played by yanks. :lol:
