I love the A-20, and am sorry to see that the LSFM is getting rid of theirs. I need to make it down to LSFM eventually.

Well it does look like it may go to the "Land down under". I wish someone would have bought it to kept it here in the states to fly it. :cry:

Hey man, is there a reason that they are getting rid of the stuff? Is there a big project that they are working on? Also, Do you know Scott Royce? He is Ralph's father. I used to work with Scott at Air Heritage.

Warhawk;
That looks like the old New England Escadrille Show in '88 or '89!
Did Don Davidson own that staff car or was it someone elses?
Notice the name on "Crazy Horse's" left side.."Stallion 51"!
"darn Yankee", "Rascel" and Doc. Anderson's P-40! Great times!

I even took part in the show as a re-enactor driving with Don and the half-dressed Doc out to the P-40 during the "attack" sequence. I got pics somewhere!

Boy, do I miss those shows! Thanks for posting them.

Scott;
Does thw WIX site automatically correct unseemly words?
That "Darn Yankee" quote is not how I spelled it!

That feature makes me look like I don't know what the actual name of the P-51 is...or that I'm really a prude!!! Dam n!!!!!

Well the aircraft that are for sale dont actually belong to Lone Star. They belong to the founder...they are his aircraft but were kept in the museum. Same with the P-38 "Putt Putt Maru". I just hope the Bearcat stays..I put a lot of my time into that airplane! I would really hate to see it go!
The current projects include the PB4-Y, and painting the Hurricane as well as the B-25..there are some good things around the corner as well and will be made public in do time.

And yes I know Scott...and the rest of the Royce clan.

Great pics guys. What ever happened to Doc Anderson's P-40? I know it was involved in an accident. Does it still fly? Hey Trae, The Royce's are a great bunch. Scott had some amazing stories to tell. If you see him, please tell him that Chris that used to work with him at Air heritage said hi. He had great stories of meeting Winston Churchill, living in the NASA community during the Apollo missions, and all kinds of other stuff. He was on a first name basis with Jimmy Doolittle!

Doc's P-40 is now with Tony Banta out in California. I believe it was restored in Australia or NZ. It looks betterthan ever!
Here's a photo taken by Ron Pagano at the Sacramento Air Show last March.
