Okay WIXers, I need your help!

What can you tell me about North Carolina? (I will also go do some research after I post this but I thought you could help.) As some of you might know I've contemplated moving for a while now... just a change of scenery, etc... a little adventure. My boyfriend might be taking a transfer to North Carolina and I wondered what's out that way? If I go we'd be in the RTP area, not sure which city exactly, but maybe that will give you an idea. I have always heard that it's a beautiful part of the country, albeit muggy in the summers, but I hear it's beautiful and a nice place to live. Anyone have anything to add to that? What about aviation out there? Any good schools that we know of, museums, etc? I want to make sure that I have at least some opportunities in avaition out that way.

Any information that you have will help me tremendously in making my decision and I would apprecaite it more than you know.

Thanks guys!

Steph

The Raliegh Durham Triangle is a great place to live and raise kids. Western NC is awesome as well, up around Asheviille. Lots of climbing, kayaking and hiking to be done. On the eastern end is the atlantic coast, which can be miserable but beautiful. I'd move back in a heartbeat. You should like it. Make sure you mention the "good place to raise kids part to the BF," so you can watch him turn white :)
