This morning I was reading a really interesting article about Wikipedia in a New Yorker Magazine from July 31, 2006 (Know It All, by Stacey Schiff - in the archives at www.newyorker.com). There were many Wiki terms described in it. Two I thought might have relevance here. First, WikiGnome, a user who keeps a low profile, fixing typos, poor grammar, and broken links. Second, WikiTroll, a user who persistently violates the site’s guidelines or otherwise engages in disruptive behavior. I suppose we could rename them WixGnome and WixTroll and modify the job description.
