Here's the answer I just got from AOPA:
Here you will find that travel or flight, in or on or descent from or with, a
military aircraft. (Except when that aircraft has a civil airworthiness
certificate in the normal or utility category in civil use pursuant to the
category rating at the time of the accident.)
As it stands, most of those aircraft you listed will be in either the normal or
restricted category. If restricted, the plan will exclude these flights even as a passenger. The only way to determine which category these aircraft fall into is to physically look at the type certificate for each plane.
(The a/c I asked about were: B-17, B-24, B-25, P-40, P-51, Skyraider, T-6)
Sounds like a good, well thought out, definite MAYBE to me.
