Yesterday, I had the privilege of meeting and shaking Tom Friedman's hand.

What a nice guy he is! We talked a lot about, what else? Warbirds, the WIX, etc. I saw his memorabilia collection, which to say the least, is very impressive.

Visited with him the Wakeman airport, and saw two or three derelict C-45s formerly with Ortner Bros., as well as a hangarful of civilian aircraft undergoing winter maintenance. Also at that airport, a Polish LiM something or another (equivalent to a MiG 15?) under a tarp, awaiting restoration.

Nice meeting you, Tom!

Saludos,

Tulio

It's a Lim-6bis (MiG-17).

The wings are stored on the other side of the airplane, and are covered by a large piece of canvas.

According to what Tom told me, the airplane belongs to a physician from Cleveland.

Saludos!
