If you ever happen to be in Dundee, MI, take exit #17 off Hwy. 23, and head EAST for half a block. The Motor Pool museum is open only on Wednesdays, and has a very interesting -albeit a little dusty and moldy- collection of WW-II military vehicles, weapons, insignia, and assorted parts and just plain junk.
Owned by an 89 year old veteran -Mike Yek- (he was a WO in charge of a crane mounted on a barge during the Normandy landings) and assisted by his grandson, this place is a must for the enthusiast!
They do not charge for admission, and there are several (actually, many) variants of the Jeep, a couple of half-tracks, three or four different scout cars, a couple of amphibian tracks, and several military trucks, from different manufacturers.
Saludos,
Tulio
