i had the worst flu or virus ever. 6 days in duration, no appetite, but constantly full stomach wise, my stomach looked like a pygmy's, extreme fatigue & nausea, slept like rip van winkle. honestly.... i thought i was dying. i told the bride if this doesn't get better i'm going to the doctor. today, i feel great. a good customer who asked how i was related simular symptoms. while i was not happy he suffered, i was relieved it just wasn't me. i'm in ohio, any simular sickness anywhere else??

Wife and all three kids are getting over high fever, nausea, fatigue. So far <knock on wood> I haven't gotten it....thank God for spare bedrooms!

Wife said the only good thing was she lost 10 pounds...but the last week sucked.

Same here. Everyone at work had or has it too. I also have a good cough going with it.

Sounds like the same thing I had. Even got a throat infection to go along with it at the end, made it real interesting. Completely lost my voice for a couple of days.

It struck me a glancing blow last week - better now but as usual will be coughing for a couple weeks. Most of my friends had it way worse! :vom:

I've been sick non-stop for the past six months (plugged sinuses down to my teeth, sore throat and trouble swallowing). Been to the doctor three times, and they've told me twice I've got a mono like virus, and once that I've got allergies.

Hit me like a ton of bricks about three-four weeks ago. Sinus infection, upset stomach, migraine headaches; bedridden for over a week, with high fever, chills and cold sweating.

Eventually it went away, but it left me weak, and the same as many of you did, I slept a lot.

Guess that the vaccine for this strain of the virus will be ready next winter, when the newest strain will hit us, and the old one won't : )

Saludos,

Tulio
