hi all

Not sure if this is a stupid idea or not. But I know some WIXers out there are dealing with some personnal problems. Rather you want to keep them to yourself is your choice.

As for me well...this past year has been rocky. I must say I am sorry if some of my posts in the past have been out of line. I know during our arguments on WIX I sometimes feed to the negativity. Its just that at times during the past year I have been in a depression and feeling miserable about life and I guess sometimes I let that out on some of the posts that I have written. Its not big huge problems that I deal with but its enough to make me feel terrible about myself and I feel alone 24/7. But it is enough to bother me and stress me out. Sometimes I get into a rut and I just can't get out.

I haven't had a lot of people in my life. My dad has had mental problems since I was 10 and I don't see him much anymore. My mom almost died in 2005 and then my sister of age 14 lost her battle with Cancer in 2006.

I got more I can share but some of you will probably think its silly stuff. To me its a battle.

So if you got problems...need to vent...and need some suppost. This is the thread to do it I suppose.

A lot of life events can be tough to deal with. Psychological illnesses can also be heredetary. Don't be afraid to seek professional help. Even if you only go once, at least you'll know whether or not they can be of help to you.

Nobody knows exactly what you are feeling unless you tell them. I think you would be surprised how common your feelings are.

Nathan, some people get satisfaction from volunteering their time for a cause. Is there an EAA chapter building a plane nearby, or a group helping the homeless or a school that needs a tutor for kids who may not be able ot afford one?" I used to tutor some 7th grade kids in math, and 7th grade was about as high as my pay scale went.
My Brother and all his family are very involved in their church and get a lot of suport from it. Good luck. Go out to the park and take a walk on a sunny day.

No FAA support around here Bill. I am trying to join CAP. I just wanted to explain a few reasons why I might of sounded off in a few posts in the past. But figured I needed to vent some so thats what I did.


True Tom, life is full of disapointment and challenges. Life isn't easy and never will be. I live in a small town not a lot of people into flying much less warbirds. So its hard to find people with similar interests. Most people around here like to talk about the same old crap: booze, women, drugs, cheating, etc. Im not one to indulge in a crappy life style. Like most hicks do around here. haha And the women?
