Folks:

I've heard you know who is going to require serial numbers placed on every bullet produced. How do you like that? (Mods I don't think this is political, because we discuss bad legislation on airplanes too.)

I don't like it, because it reflects distrust by gov't of the American people.

A2C. If you keep up with the more reputable gun forums like AR15.com and the AK forum you'd know that threads like this are getting locked on the gun forums! Don't think they have any place here. We must be vigilant, but not paranoid and certainly not play into folks fears.

dude, you must calm down with the whole "commies stole my brain and sold it to aliens" thing. :P
This is a very political subject, made mroeso by your placing the blame on "you know who," No. I don't know who. The NRA? Dang, son. That NRA needs their head examined.

If you would like to talk about the gun control issue a better place would be a gun board. There have been several gun thread posted here that have stayed above the general gun debate fray. Let's keep it that way please. Thanks

Want to talk gun control? Here are some good options...

Think I've encountered a new "gun restriction"......I ran out of places to put 'em!

The Chilean M1895 Mauser, 1898 Krag & the two incoming Garands are just gonna have to sit in a corner for a while.....

OH! I've been wanting a Krag for a long time.
I remember about 15 years ago they were all over for @ $200. I saw them at many tables at many gunshows...then they kind of disappeared for a few years...I was looking!
When they came back on the scene they had tripled in price!

Gee whiz...

So the west coast dealer for Lance Aircraft is now selling M-1's. Do you have any carbines?

Two, but not for sale.

If you'll pay me a 15% premium on everything I buy from them, I all-of-a-sudden am their dealer!
