Since people seem to think that the off-topic section is for political discussion, something that is frowned upon, I have temporarily closed the section. ANY political discussions in any other forum will be deleted and the user suspended. I have had it with the politically motivated comments.

I haven't been on the board lately as I had to make a sudden move to Carson City NV about 10 days ago. My mother was diagnosed with end stage cancer last week and my sister and I have been doing things at warp speed since then. We have my parents moved to an assisted living facility and I am living in their house so they don't have to worry about the house and contents.
I hope to have a little time in the near future to try and catch up on WIX. I may not be posting much but hope to get a chance to read some of the posts.

Sorry to hear that...I've been there and done that...We moved in with my parents @ 10 years back when mom took a bad turn and Dad's Alzheimer's took off...it was rough but I wouldn't do it differently today...
Our prayers are with you as well.
On the up side...you are awfully close to Reno! and come September that might be a good thing!

Thank you for the kind words and prayers.
I guess it would be a crime to be near Reno during the races and not attend. At least we do have warbirds at Carson City so I get to hear the round engines and Merlins. I drive through Minden each day and they do base fire tankers there.
