You know for a second I thought this thread was referring to yet another sequel for the Ben Stiller movie series, 'Night at the Museum' and now 'Night at the Smithsonian'.

Hey that would be a great idea if they keep the series going! I'd just love to see the look on the Generals face as Shoo Shoo Baby and the entire WW2 gallery takes flight!!

Did the night tour several years ago with a friend from Wright-Pat. Had a blast going all over the place. The big thrill for me was getting to sit in the 262 cockpit....for her it was going onboard the B-36. Definately worth the time and effort to go.

Here are the planes that will have open cockpits for viewing on May 15th for the Night at the Museum:

B-24 Liberator, SR-71 Blackbird, P-61C Black Widow, RF-86F Sabre "Haymaker, UH-19 Sikorsky "Chickasaw", AC-130A Spectre and the F-22A Rapton.

Keep in mind that it is on a Friday ... anyone wanting to see the Restoration, the tour is also on Fricay afternoon.

If really interested, I would call quickly to make a reservation for the restoration and then you can do the Night at the Museum the same evening.
