I was working on a plane and put the landing gear on, and I turned on all the lights on in the hanger all day.

What kind of projects are you all working on?

What kind of plane?

Several guys were working on aircraft at our field today, I spent the night at the field with some friends trying (no joy) to shoot some hogs that have been tearing up the sides of the runway, we flew to Hondo to the meet-up (http://warbirdinformationexchange.org/p ... 9&start=15) and then took up a (probably) future pilot for a flight on the squadron. He had a blast, and I think it was a good introduction for him, judging from his response.

Finished my annual at 3 AM this morning; flew to Hondo at 10:30 AM; saw Ryan there with the L-5 and his passenger who seemed to have a great time. Saw all the rest of the boys there. We all had fun today despite the ferocious winds :P

I finished some work on our machine Thursday but it started raining before I could take a hop. We were going to file our tax return today and then take a nice ride, but this is what we had in the Tulsa area today:

The dogs didn't seem to like it much either--

Got the taxes done, but the flying will have to wait 'till tomorrow afternoon!

Well the motor blew in my car on Thursday even though I had it done 5 months ago. I spent all day Saturday from 7am to 11pm putting another motor/box in. Sunday the vintage bike club Im in had a run to a Model park. Ive got a friend out from the US here (she has a Merlin Powered Hydro also) so she came on the bike and my wife followed with my 2 year old daughter in the repowered Falcon.
The park is awsome with Tether cars (341kph) , 1/4 scale RC Sprint cars, Live steam model train rides, Control line planes, RC planes and boats and Slot cars all at the one venue. We all had a ball.
I can see why the auto industry is in such a mess. These late model cars are junk especially Fords. Give me a Toyota any day. :P

I was working on this all weekend. Changing tires

I consider it aviation related (distantly!) as it was used to help build some roads that lead to a local airport...(okay, it's a real long stretch! )

I went shooting this weekend. I realized my AR-15 is a fantastic rifle all around. 10 rounds in an 4 inch target with a red dot site. Just lovely. The realized the romanian PSL i just purchased is a pile of junk. Makes big boom, no good accuracy. Oh well..... still got stress relief out 8)
