Every once in awhile you read or hear about someone or something that pretty well passes the outer limits of dumb human behavior. Now this one may not be the final word in dumb stunts, but it will do for this week.

From the Aspen Daily News of Jan. 3, Murfreesboro, Tenn. Police found a driver at a gas station passed out while still sitting in his car.
He came to the attention of the station and the cops, because he was sitting at the gas pumps for an hour. Why did he pass out? Was he ill, or maybe just drunk? No, drunk would have been a little smarter than he was. He passed out from the fumes of the portable meth lab that he had cooking away in the back seat.
This Mr. Beasley (hopefully no relation ) is being held on a $15,000 bond, of 4 charges, including suspended license.

Jay Leno, has a segment about world's dumbest criminals, so this guy may make TV.

All of us do somethings that would not look good in retrospect, but I think this guy sets the bar pretty low.

Looking at this in a positive light, all I can say is that he and others like him, make people like you and me seem pretty darn smart, regardless of how that may not be entirely true.

Thanks for sharing this story. I'd never heard anything like it.

Peace,

David
