WINDY WEATHER POUNDS REGION
Nor'easter expected to dump more rain

A man finds himself in h*ll and sees Satan throwing people into the fire. Periodically, Saton picks up a person and sets him aside. Out of curiosity, the man asks Satan why some people are being spared.
"They're from Maine and too wet and cold to burn,? Satan replies.

I saw a bright spot in the sky the other day. People were running and screaming helter-skelter through the streets, and a long-haired guru was carrying a sign that said " The end is Near!". I went to ground as I knew it had to be an atmospheric detonation of a thermonuclear device! Still no outside contact EXCEPT FOR the WIX! Hi Tom!

Gonna have to get up there one of these decades. We can go check out Walt's place, and then head by the lake for bikini boat chick stuff. Summer, of course. I had a good day, did some hood work, then, coming downwind instructor Kevin pulled the plug. I'm all cool, a little high, a little fast. I decide to go a little long to get rid of it. Mistake. Not gonna make it. I say it. He says wait. I'm getting real short and I go from 50kts to 85kts like magic. Thank you Jeebus! Just enough to goose it over the berm and hit the numbers. Thanks Planet!

On another note, I saw T-34 666, taking off and flying. Anyone know the T-34 status. I was under the impression they were all grounded.

On another, another, note, Jack Handy is the worlds greatest modern philosopher. Google Jack Handy and Deep Thoughts, you won't be disappointed.

Hey guys:

Out here in Tucson, the hot weather and low humidity 100+, 5-10% drives a lot of lifting force, and generates our monsoon season! We actually have started early on monsoons this year.

This actually causes is an increase in humidity, and decrease in Temp.

Just got back from Phoenix on Wednesday afternoon. The heat chased us off from working on the Aero Commander.....Monday morning it was 111 degrees by 10 am. When I climbed out of the tail at noon, my pocket thermometer was pegged well beyond 125 degrees. Block ice stored in a high effecient cooler would last about 30 hours instead of the 7 or 8 days it normally did.

Bad thing is that I have at least 3 more trips out there before she is ready to ship home.

Funny you mention that cvairworks:

The strange thing is that the monsoon season doesn't seem to hit Phoenix! It tends to hit Tucson, and south towards Mexico. One summer, we had continous rain for 3 months! Again it's a phenomena that hits Tucson, bescuase of the mountains nearby, the proximity to some coastline, and the 2400' elevation. Both Yuma, and Phoenix don't seem to get the monsoon.
