while i'm not a trekkie or a sci fi buff i thought i'd pass on some fun info for wix members that are....... the next time you watch "enterprise" the latest star trek program, pay close attention to the set decoration. in the captain's cabin there is a photo of a pan am airways boeing clipper on the wall. while in no way related to any story line or episode it has brought some fun to aviation buffs who watch the show. the photo is their as a tribute to star trek creator gene roddenberry who was a pilot for pan am. as printed in "general aviation news" april 7th issue.

There's actually several aviation themed items in Star Trek, the enterpise (carrier) pictures and models as well as the the appearance of a F-104, a "Zero", A flight of mustangsand a squadron of plasma cannon armed Stukas.
