What a bummer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. One of the first tools I ever bought. My Makita Mdl 9005B grinder bit the dust. It was over 20 years old The funny thing was it was running but there was no way I could get the wire disk off without buggering up some bearings and the parts are expensive. You should buy all your tools at Harbor Freight. That way you can get a new one every few weeks to replace the one that broke. See, I have none of that old stuff laying about!!!!!!

New. I have alot in my Paypal account so no problem. I had it 20 years and ran great ! I think I'll get another and 20 years out of it . It was kind of like losing a old friend. My payapl has bailed me out alot and helped pay for all my tools. I really love it. My basement looks like I never left the airlines. It's hard to work without good tools. For example, I'm changing the tile in the bathroom. I have 2 cheap harbor freight air hammers and they don't work very good compaired to my Ingersoll-Rand stuff. How's your project going? Making any progress on the T-6?

Sorry to change lanes here, but we have a trip this month to Hartford and wondered if there are any warbirds to see? We'll be there for the day, maybe a overnight....

Little by little!We are restoring the throttle quadrants right now and cleaning up (but not removing) the hydraulic shelf. Lots and lots of little pieces in a T-6!
