Guys,
This is a must read The Devil's Sandbox. It follows the Oregon Nat. Guards 2/162 Infantry throught the hardest/bloodiest fighting in Iraq.
I was amazed at what they did, saw and endured. Just f*cking brutal stuff! This book has already pissed a lot of people off! This is my best buddy's John's six book (disclaimer issued) the first 5 were aviation related (Jungle Ace, Crimson Sky, Ship Strike Pacific ect).
His next book about a 1st Inf. Div trooper is being looked at by Jerry Bruckheimer (Blackhawk Down) for possible production.
