I have a bunch of all wood models from the WW2 era, but I have never seen these paper ones. Can you direct me to a photo?

It would be nice if the patterns for these could be scanned so that people could build them without sacrificing the collectible value of the originals. But if they are black-on-black and still not punched out of their original cards, I'm not sure how one would do that.
