Ooohhhh, Baby!

The Tin Goose is my all-time favorite airplane. But I'm a bit biased..got my first airplane ride in the old Island Airlines Ford back in 1976. I've managed to fly in three over the years (the others are the EAA's and the Kalamazoo Air Zoo's.) Are those pics from Oshkosh? Someone was telling me the other day that Herrick had sold 4-AT-10. Seems strange, considering how much went into it's restoration.

Thanks for the photos, Paul - especially the Bushmaster and N414H together, as I rode in both of them at Oshkosh in the late '70s. Does N414H still have that one odd clipped wingtip?

Paul, how long ago were those taken??????? The 1st tin goose that has the Wrights. I wonder if at that time he was having oil temp issues. We did a long time ago, found out that the crank case was being pressurized and the oil was foaming due to that we were running our wright without the breather cap, same as the 1st pics of the trimotor.

Finally I can contribute to this one

This is the EAA's tri-motor. I went for a ride last June in NJ. It was my g/f's first airplane ride...I convinced her that if she didnt mind a 70 year old tri-motor, she would be able to fly on anything. :lol:
