NO DREAMERS

Mon Mar 26, 2007 3:12 pm

Tho it sounds rude to say "no dreamers" or "serious only" I once had a similiar experience to CVAIRWERKS.
I was selling a half restored 56 Vette, at a fair price determined by several that knew the market. I spent days of time with people that either knew little about the project, less abpout it's value or were simply trying to get something for nothing. The final buyer was kn owledgable, fair and aware of what he was getting. There's nothing worse than spending a lot of time with a potential buyer that seems serious only to have them offer you a fraction of the items worth because THEY feel you are desperate.

An old trader taught me if someone insults your asking price you counter and go up $200.00 and not come off of it. You are best to walk away.

Hi,

If it wasnt for dreaming I wouldnt be looking at a almost complete A25  . I've been called a dreamer for years, but sometimes you can live your dreams  Dreams are imagined but with a little/ lot of hard work you can turn them into reality. If it wasn't for dreamers we would still be dependant on horses and smoke signals. Dreams turn into progress if you have a dream follow it, but beware the dfferents between a dream and a nightmare can be a very thin line.

Thanks Mike
