lockheed martin & it's f-22 raptor team have won the 2006 collier trophy. the raptor designers won for designing, testing, & operating the raptor. the nomination noted the f-22's performance in the 2006 northern edge military exercise. team members were boeing, pratt & whitney, northrop grumman, raytheon, bae systems, & of course the usaf.
