I took these photos back in Jan of '04 when I went back home on leave. Oddly enough this aircraft is in the Wright-Patterson AFB Recycling Center and not on USAF Museum property. Not sure what the other Airframe parts are. As recent as Aug '04 a 2nd RF-84, dismantled, has joined the 1st in the recycling yard. The 2nd I believe is one I took pictures of years prior complete on its landing gear out in front of the Museum's Restoration Facility. So I find it odd that it's been thrown in a DRMO site. Perhaps it's been used in the restoration of another. I'll be getting more photos here soon. Thanks

Shay

I've got adequate indoor space if anyone manages to acquire it, and for some reason wants to store it in Louisiana. :)

Since you are in Maine, please clarify if that is forty acres or forty square miles :D

Good Grief! I'm sure I could round up a truck if the airframe was available for the taking. Besides that - it'd be right at home with the T-33s and Mig-15 that are based out of Wendover! Now the restoration part gets a bit more involved . . .

wendovertom

As far as the parts go. If someone were able to acquire this RF-84F. They might aslo be able to score the second RF-84F that is now laying next to this one. I'm having my brother stop by the yard tommorrow. Hopefully he might be able to talk his way into the yard for more detailed photos. I'll post as soon as possible. Thanks

Ryan, The answer to the question is "YES"!
Tulio, As for Maine, It would still be Square Miles, we just keep it under trees so we don't show off  (Texas is still a BBIIGGG-ASSSSEEDD State! Got any Lone Star, THE NATIONAL BEER OF TEXAS! :partyman:

I heard that the F-84F was impossible to recover from a spin.
