My only problem with them being in location they are now is that most of the people that see them more than likely don't care about them. To me a science center is where you put a Cessna 152 or something.

The Chicago Museum is a awesome place. I remember going their has a kid and seeing all the planes and the U-505. I'm amazed they restored the sub and put it indoors. How cool is that. How it's time to spend some money on the airplanes like the Mystery ship 8)

I think IF a museum is constructed at Meigs it will pretty much center around the history of the airport which catered to light aircraft. I dont believe there would be much interest in these warbirds in a place like that.

The museum is indeed a cool place, I don't mean any disrespect. I love the U-boat and the Zephyr train. I just would like to see these aircraft on their gear. As for Meigs there is debate as to what is going to be done with it.
