It does. They used the description of what several of the raiders said that it looked like.

Virgil Thompson one of the NAA employees that modified the D back to the Doolittle B model replica was also involved with some of the original B model modifications. Although, the broomsticks were an afterthought to the factory mods that were made.

And just might take the 50's out of the tail and replace with broom sticks.

That would be cool. You might talk to Tony at Aero Trader I believe they have the molds for the "bubble" plexy. That would be really cool lol. Although not not nearly as much room as the later tail gun position. I have been in "Miss Hap" and you practically have to lay down to look out the window.

I believe there are 14 survivors left. Seven made it and seven did not.

Its on the tentative schedule for Thunderbird to be at Temple but, with the engine problems it could be a challenge. I wont be able to make the Temple show myself. Are you coming down for the LSFM show this weekend????

The broomstick story is interesting as they were different. Some crews such as Doolittle's actually went as far as to paint tracks so that it looked like the fake guns could move up and down.

Dear Trae,

I find you to be way too spoiled! :D

No, not really, you've worked really hard to earn the privaledges with LSFM that you have, it's just my jealousy speaking. I wish I could do some of the traveling that you're able to do. I really hope to make it to TOM this year. I'd love to see her in person!

Steph
