Flug Werks Fw-190 sucessful rollout flight

Sat Oct 30, 2004 8:38 am

Yesterday Flug Werks rolled out its Fw-190A officially for the press and aviation world. The 8 minute flight was flawless and the large crowd on hand numbered 32 journalists and over 60 other VIP's. Horst, the test pilot, put on a very good display, low level passes included. It seems as if the 8 year struggle has been a great sucess.

That's one beautiful image IMO. Seeing an airworthy Fw-190 in crisp, clear, modern color is a 'first' in my book anyway. I can't wait to see one of them flying with an authentic wartime scheme. There are SO many possibilities. :)
