T-33 pressurization

I am just wondering If the T-33 was pressurized or not?

From what I have been able to learn, yes they were pressurized or had the capability if desired. From sea level to 8000 feet, the cockpit was unpressurized. From 8000 to 15,000 it maintained 8000 foot cabin altitude. Above 15,000 it maintained 2.75 psi above outside air pressure.

For example, at 40,000 feet the cockpit altitude would hae been the equivalent of 25,000 feet.

Quite correct on your flight manual numbers! Often the T-33 pressurization systems don't quite live up to the numbers in the manual.
