Took the family to see "Transformers" last night. All I can say is "WOW". Even if you don't have children, go see it. Lots of military aircraft. It kept my 3yo's interest for 2 1/2 hrs...............John

Caught it last night myself..pretty decent "popcorn" movie. Good escapist fun. We should have sat a few rows further back, though..my ears will be ringing for a week!

Not a whole lot in the way of character development, but some cool action sequences..but heck, we're talking about a movie based on a cartoon designed to sell toys! I loved the scene were the AC-130 attacks a Deceptacon with 40mm and 105 mm fire, although I had to chuckle at the way Air Force One "transforms" from a (civilian) 747 in the air into a KC-135 on the ground (complete with fuel boom.)

I still haven't forgiven Michael Bay for the abomination known as 'Pearl Harbor,' but as long as he sticks to cartoon sci-fi fare I can tolerate him.

Yeah Elroy! That was my favorite scene too. The little lady couldn't understand why I was jumping up and down in the aisle. :D ...John
