This is very sad news regarding Jim Leroy and the Mary's Lamb team.

http://www.daytondailynews.com/

I hadn't planned on going to the Airshow until tomorrow. While out with the wife. I was at a store at a high point in the area that overlooks the airport off in the distance and was wondering why i didn't see any acts in the air.

My best wishes to Jim and his family and friends.

Also was there a reason as to why the first post about this was pulled?

I had it posted earlier but didn't feel anyone wanted to learn about another accident so I pulled it.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Jim's family and friends.

It was a very tragic day in Dayton. The emergancy vechicals took well over 2-3 minutes to get out there...way too long. I have never heard so many people in silence before. Around 4:00 it came over the scanner came the call for a coroner. Best wishes to his family.

I saw this about 1 1/2 hrs ago. Somebody must have run home to jump on the PC, just to be the first. Slightly morbid, if that is the case.

No, my Dad had a booth in conjunction with the State Highway Patrol. I had been at the fence when the crash happened right in front of us.
